Pol Nada - Imperio
(ft Barbarita Palacios y Barda)

Pol Nada - Imperio (Empire)
(ft Barbarita Palacios and Barda)

Do Gods have hope?
You will be a God with hope because you have managed to destroy your own empire.
Pol Nada presents his second single from the album Aparecido. Imperio is a song about hope, about destroying the big to make room for the small.
Its rhythm proposes an austere dance, over a chillwave base with reverberating guitars that expand into dubby delays and vintage pop vocals that gradually take off and grow towards the end of the song.
For this song Pol Nada summoned the artist Barbarita Palacios, with whom he worked on the construction of harmonies and choral arrangements and giving depth to the recitation they share in the interpretation. He also joined Cecilia Gebhard (Barda) with whom he worked on the production from the organic beat and downtempo adding to the song the rhythmic elements that subtly invite to dance.

ABOUT THE ALBUM "APARECIDO”
The stories of the album move between issues of the human world and the world of the extraordinary as it happens with this figure of the popular imaginary litoraleño. The aparecido is between those two worlds, it is psychedelic, beautiful and luminous. Its matter comes from the immensity, wrapped in radiance and spectrality. But it returns to the world of narratives and human languages to say something. The apparition is a figure of transformation and is part of the littoral epic. A silent and subtle epic that requires going to meet him to be discovered. The 11 musical moments of this album accompany these transformations combining electronic sonorities, baroque choral glows, psychedelic spirals of reverbs and delays with dub, folkloric and Latin rhythms.
