Fértil Discos presenta Rama en el Río, primer adelanto del álbum de Barda “El Sueño sobre el Sueño”
“Rama en el Río” habla de ese momento en que estamos plenos y podemos relajar la mente, el cuerpo y el alma. Y la dejamos navegar por este río que se llama mundo. Fue elegido como corte de difusión por la historia que relata y las texturas que presenta, que son una puerta de entrada al resto del disco, poética y sonoramente.
La letra de la canción va por un camino diferente, no menciona a una rama o a un río en ningún momento. Pero la asociación del título con lo que la letra cuenta genera un paisaje que se completa en el imaginario a la hora de escuchar el tema. Sin saber cómo, finalmente sucede.
Barda y Gus Goncalves comparten una amistad que los ve en algunas ocasiones jugando e improvisando música sólo para pasar un lindo rato. De algunas de esas ocasiones surgió grabar lo que estaban haciendo y, a partir de ahí, también vinieron algunas presentaciones en vivo y la grabación de Live sets, como el de Camarón Brujo Estudio.
Rama en el Río, con la voz de Gus, surge en 2018 y va mutando a medida que lo tocan en vivo, infinidad de veces. Su mezcla final es esta versión con algunas texturas y detalles modificados hasta último momento y la mano de Nicolás Bruschi (SidiRum) en el aporte de ideas a la mezcla. El arte estuvo a cargo de Fores y el mastering final lo realizó Sebastián Cordovés
Acerca del álbum “El Sueño sobre el Sueño”
El álbum es como un libro con varios capítulos, o como una miniserie con varios episodios. Son 10 tracks que proponen diversos imaginarios; muchxs cantantes invitadxs que ayudaron a ponerle voz a las historias; diversidad de ritmos y densidades; y mucho acercamiento a la canción. Coquetea con el folclore (implementando melodías armonizadas por terceras), el blues y la música electrónica en beats más aletargados y climáticos que en trabajos anteriores de Barda.

Fértil Discos presents Rama en el Río, first single from Barda's album "El Sueño sobre el Sueño".
"Rama en el Rio" talks about that moment when we are full and we can relax our mind, body and soul. And we let it sail through this river called the world. It was chosen as a diffusion cut because of the story it tells and the textures it presents, which are a gateway to the rest of the album, poetically and sonically.
The lyrics of the song go a different way, not mentioning a branch or a river at any point. But the association of the title with what the lyrics tell generates a landscape that is completed in the imaginary at the time of listening to the song. Without knowing how, it finally happens.
Barda and Gus Goncalves share a friendship that sees them sometimes playing and improvising music just to have a good time. From some of those occasions they recorded what they were doing and, from there, also came some live performances and the recording of live sets, such as Camarón Brujo Estudio.
Rama en el Rio, with the voice of Gus, emerges in 2018 and mutates as they play it live, countless times. Their final mix is this version with some textures and details modified until the last moment and the hand of Nicolás Bruschi (SidiRum) in contributing ideas to the mix. Fores was in charge of the artwork and the final mastering was done by Sebastián Cordovés.

The album is like a book with several chapters, or like a miniseries with several episodes. There are 10 tracks that propose diverse imaginaries; many guest singers who helped to give voice to the stories; diversity of rhythms and densities; and a lot of approach to the song. It flirts with folklore (implementing melodies harmonized by thirds), blues and electronic music in more lethargic and climatic beats than in Barda's previous works
