Del Parche Al Sampler (DPAS) is an online workshop of digital production oriented to folklore taught by producer and composer Lauphan (Rosario) and DJ and cultural manager Villa Diamante (Buenos Aires).
This compilation contains tracks composed by artists who went through the workshop during 2021, new promises of music with sensitivity between folkloric and digital.
In this alliance between Fértil and DPAS we intend to give visibility to a series of restless producers who have been investigating the language of sound mestizaje, opening the frontiers of electronic music to rhythms and sounds of roots.

From organic downtempo of La Forastera and Nayaim, to the 6/8 rhythms of Simone, the electro-folkloric song of Namirí, the urban cumbiero sound of Hachezeta to the dubby sound of Chaco Boreal, Circuitos Volátiles and Lionel, different experiments have been possible. Stay tuned for more DPAS volumes to come.
