Despierto is a song about this question.

Dust rises with swirling winds in an altiplano desert. Some piles of green bushes on the side of the road, confusingly reminiscent of coastal feelings.

Pol Nada presents the third single from the album Aparecido. After Wind Gurú and Imperio, Despierto retakes the proposal of dark and intimate folklore, although at the end it becomes luminous, creating a space for the encounter between Andean and chamamé litoraleño elements.


Pol Nada invites the singer and composer Juana Aguirre, former member of Churupaca, a band in which she knew how to fuse rioplatense songs, Latin American rhythms, flamenco and klezmer. Will it be the star that guides us?

ABOUT THE ALBUM "APARECIDO”
The stories of the album move between issues of the human world and the world of the extraordinary as it happens with this figure of the popular imaginary litoraleño. The aparecido is between those two worlds, it is psychedelic, beautiful and luminous. Its matter comes from the immensity, wrapped in radiance and spectrality. But it returns to the world of narratives and human languages to say something. The apparition is a figure of transformation and is part of the littoral epic. A silent and subtle epic that requires going to meet him to be discovered. The 11 musical moments of this album accompany these transformations combining electronic sonorities, baroque choral glows, psychedelic spirals of reverbs and delays with dub, folkloric and Latin rhythms.

ABOUT POL NADA

Pol Nada explores experimental song from dark folk with elements of electronica, psychedelia and baroque choral music. His lyrics explore the technology of emotions, human perceptions, science, life and death. In his live performances he builds sound spaces with elements of digital psychedelia, dark folk and movement electronics with guitars, synthesizers, percussions and layers of baroque vocals. He has released 6 albums recording with artists such as Tweety González, Natalia Lafourcade, Hector Castillo ("Converse Rubber Tracks sessions"), Mariano Domínguez (IKV) and Juan Manuel Torreblanca, among others from Rosario, Buenos Aires and Mexico. He received awards and distinctions from the National Institute of Music, Ministry of Culture of Argentina and Ministry of Culture of Santa Fe, where he was a jury member in phonographic production contests. She played in stages such as Personal Fest, International Poetry Festival of Rosario, Festival Desde El Mar, Tecnópolis, Usina del arte, CCK, Caras y Caretas, Casa Nacional del Bicentenario, Sala Margarita Xirgu, She is a member of the collective "Fertil Discos" where she edited her latest works and remixes with important DJs and producers of the electronic scene in Argentina.

Fértil is an independent label founded in 2014, which brings together artists from the South American independent electronic scene. From the publication of albums, compilations and production of events, Fértil proposes to unite Latin American popular music and electronic music, in pursuit of rereading traditions and understanding the everyday life of the Latin being.
