Los Pájaros (Remixes) ---- ENGLISH BELOW
En 2021, El Remolón lanzó junto al coplero urbano Brawlio, una versión libre la vidala “Encienda el Fuego”, copla tradicional de la provincia de Catamarca, Argentina. Desde la letra costumbrista al ritmo electrónico, la obra es retomada por dos grandes productores latinoamericanos que la llevan directo a la pista de baile. Por un lado Mōiqe (Venezuela/México), le imprime una potencia ineludible, con un sonido apto para disfrutar en el medio de una fiesta global y, por otro Humano (Ecuador) retoma un sonido más vintage, con reminiscencias alos años 80 y un sonido seco pero contundente. Los Pajaros Remixes es el primer adelanto de una serie de reversiones del disco Asimétrico editado en 2021 por El Remolón a través de Fertil Discos, que contará con versiones de artistas como Balam, Mente Orgánica, Mica Towers y Bakur, entre otrxs. El arte de tapa estuvo a cargo de Joaquín Chas, ofreciendo una relectura con el sentido de humor que lo caracteriza.
Acerca de El Remolón
El Remolón es el alter ego de Andres Schteingart, productor de música electrónica que experimenta con ritmos latinoamericanos como la cumbia, el reggaeton y el folklore y uno de los pioneros del movimiento llamados Cumbia Digital. El Remolón evolucionó creando temas de mediana velocidad con un sonido lento pero pegador.. Su fuerte ha sido la mezcla del dub con la hipnosis digital. Como artista de la escudería Zizek, ha editado 9 discos entre albums y EPs y realizado giras desde hace casi 15 años, tocando en clubs y festivales en más de 100 ciudades. Colaboró con artistas de la talla de Pablo Lescano (Damas Gratis), Li Saumet (Bomba Estereo), Ale Sergi (Miranda!), Gotan Project e incluso con la adolescente sensación peruana de youtube Wendy Sulca. Actualmente dirige Fertil Discos, un sello orientado a difundir y expandir las fronteras de la electrónica sudamericana con todo lo que se englobe y vaya más alla de la idea de electrónica orgánica. Se encuentra presentando su último disco “Asimétrico” y en sus presentaciones incluye temas de su propia autoría con remixes y temas del cancionero popular latinoamericano en clave electrónica.

Acerca de Fértil Discos
Fértil es un sello independiente fundado en 2014, que reúne a artistas de la escena electrónica independiente sudamericana. Los Pájaros (Remixes)
In 2021, El Remolón released together with urban coplero Brawlio, a free version of the vidala "Encienda el Fuego", a traditional copla from the province of Catamarca, Argentina. From the traditional lyrics to the electronic rhythm, the work is retaken by two great Latin American producers who take it straight to the dance floor. On the one hand Mōiqe, aka as Tropikore (Venezuela/Mexico), gives it an inescapable power, with a sound suitable to enjoy in the middle of a global party and, on the other hand Humano (Ecuador) takes up a more vintage sound, reminiscent of the 80's and a dry but forceful sound. Los Pajaros Remixes is the first advance of a series of reversions of the album Asimétrico released in 2021 by El Remolón through Fertil Discos, which will feature versions of artists such as Balam, Mente Orgánica, Mica Towers and Bakur, among others. Joaquín Chas was in charge of the cover art, offering a rereading with the sense of humor that characterizes him.
About El Remolón
El Remolón is the alter ego of Andres Schteingart, an electronic music producer who experiments with Latin American rhythms such as cumbia, reggaeton and folklore and one of the pioneers of the movement called Cumbia Digital. El Remolón evolved by creating medium speed tracks with a slow but catchy sound. His forte has been mixing dub with digital hypnosis. As an artist of the Zizek team, he has released 9 records between albums and EPs and toured for almost 15 years, playing in clubs and festivals in more than 100 cities. He has collaborated with artists such as Pablo Lescano (Damas Gratis), Li Saumet (Bomba Estereo), Ale Sergi (Miranda!), Gotan Project among others. He currently runs Fertil Discos, a label oriented to spread and expand the frontiers of South American electronica with everything that encompasses and goes beyond the idea of organic electronica. He is presenting his latest album "Asimétrico" and his presentations include songs of his own authorship with remixes and songs from the popular Latin American songbook in electronic key.
